Δελτωτοῦ
Τοῦτό ἐστιν ὑπὲρ μὲν τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ Κριοῦ κείμενον, λέγεται δὲ διὰ τὸ ἐκεῖνον ἀμαυρότερον εἶναι· εὔσημον ἐπ’ αὐτοῦ γράμμα κεῖσθαι ἀπὸ Διὸς τὸ πρῶτον τοῦ ὀνόματος δι’ Ἑρμοῦ τεθέν, ὃς τὸν διάκοσμον τῶν ἄστρων ἐποιήσατο. Φασὶ δέ τινες καὶ τὴν τῆς Αἰγύπτου θέσιν ἐκ τοῦ ἐν τοῖς ἄστροις εἶναι τριγώνου, καὶ τὸν Νεῖλον τοιαύτην τὴν περιοχὴν ποιήσασθαι τῆς χώρας, ἅμα τε τὴν ἀσφάλειαν αὐτῇ ποριζόμενον, εἴς τε τὸν σπόρον εὐμαρεστέραν ποιούμενον καὶ εἰς τὴν τῶν καρπῶν ἀνακομιδὴν εὐκαιρίαν ὡρῶν ἐσόμενον. Ἔχει δ′ ἀστέρας ἐφ’ ἑκάστῃ τῶν γωνιῶν λαμπρούς.

さんかく座 (ギリシャ語直訳版)
この星座は牡羊座の頭の上にあります。しかし、それは暗いと言われています。 この星座には、 星の装飾に影響を与えたヘルメスにより、ゼウス(Διὸς)の最初の特別な文字(Δ)があります。
この、星空にある三角形はエジプトのナイル川とも云われます。そこに安全を見つけることができれば、種が植えられ、収穫の実を刈り取る機会が得られることがわかります。

He has three brilliant stars to its angles.
